Introduction
  1. By using this Site you are governed by all Terms of Trade set out below and elsewhere on the Site, including its links, and such use indicates your agreement to all such Terms.
  2. Grid Digital World Pty Ltd trading as GDWorld reserves the right to make changes to this Site, including its Terms of Trade, without prior notice. Please visit this page before you purchase goods everytime.
  3. All information provided on this Website and its links is subject to change without prior notice and is to be used as a guide only. GDWorld does not guarantee the accuracy of any such information and will not be held responsible for any inaccuracies. Photographs and images of products provided on this Website and links are provided for representational indicative purposes only.
  4. GDWorld will not be liable for any damages whether direct, indirect or consequential, resulting from any inaccuracies in the information provided on this website or its links.
  5. Product names and brands may be trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. All rights are reserved.
  6. GDWorld's Terms of Trade are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State.

Terms and Conditions of Sale
  1. Product compatibility will be advised to the best of our knowledge and experience. However, GDWorld provides no guarantee of compatibility
  2. GDWorld's return policy on goods that are faulty and accepted by GDWorld is to exchange for goods of equal value or to provide a credit towards the purchase of other goods at GDWorld's Discretion.
  3. The title of goods shall not pass to the buyer until full payment has been received and cheques are cleared by GDWorld.
  4. Terms and conditions of payment for the Goods and/or Services are strictly CDB (Cash Before Delivery) unless otherwise agreed and specified on invoice. Payment by other than Cash or Cheque (by prior arrangement only) may attract additional administration charges. Lodging your Credit Card details with GDWorld can be used as the method for payment before delivery. Payments by Credit Card will incur a non refundable 3% surcharge and normal cancellation charges will apply.
  5. GDWorld cannot deliver to third party addresses unless otherwise agreed.
  6. GDWorld does not guarantee product compatibility. On Special request, non-faulty Products returned for credit must be done so within 7 days of invoice date, unopened, unused in its original packaging and will incur a 15% restocking fee of the lower price of either its invoiced value or market value at the discretion of GDWorld. No goods will be accepted for return after 7 days.
  7. Goods sold on "back-to-back orders and no-return" basis will be identified by GDWorld and cannot be returned or cancelled.
  8. If an order for Custom Systems is cancelled before dispatch a charge of 10% of the purchase price will be applied. In the case of a Component order cancellation, GDWorld reserves the right, at its discretion, to charge up to 10% of the purchase price.
  9. GDWorld will only accept responsibility for adherence to technical or performance specifications by any goods to the extent that the Manufacturer of those goods accepts that same responsibility.
  10. There will be an administration fee for any cheque rejected / returned by our bank for any reason.

Terms and Conditions of Warranty and Returns Policy
  1. GDWorld Covers all hardware products for a 1-year parts limited manufacturer warranty unless specified otherwise by GDWorld. All GDWorld computer systems comes with 1 year parts and 3 years labour warranty.
  2. All products carry a 7 days replacement guarantee from date of purchase.
  3. After 7 days, the product may only be returned for repair. Repair time is roughly 2 weeks, but may vary depending on availability and location of manufacturer.
  4. All products must be in their original packaging. A restocking fee of 15% of the purchased price may be charged if the product or packaging is in a non-satisfactory condition.
  5. No warranty claims will be accepted without a proof of purchase provided by the customer. The invoice is to be presented for any claims.
  6. Many goods including, but not limited to, most monitors, printers and component parts are covered by "direct" manufacturers' warranties. Any claims in these circumstances cannot be handled by GDWorld and the customer must contact the manufacturer or its agent for warranty claims.
  7. GDWorld takes all due care in servicing all goods, however GDWorld accepts no liability whatsoever for any form of damage or loss of the aforementioned goods arising during servicing. Customer should backup their data before sending any product for repair/replace
  8. Consumable products are sold on non-return basis, customer should check carefully before purchase.
  9. For goods returning for warranty, customer must pay all related shipping fee.
  10. Bright or Dead pixels on LCD Monitors do not automatically mean that the TFT is faulty or DOA unless the model purchased is specified by GDWorld to come with a zero dead pixel warranty. Unless a dead pixel check is paid for, all freight charges to and from GDWorld for exchange of units will be borne by customer. Please refer to the pixel policy of the manufacturer.
  11. Any goods returned for repair found by GDWorld to be free of faults or goods with physical damage or damage caused by improper use are not covered by warranty. The customer shall be liable for a handling and service fee of $22 (incl GST) for components or $33.00 (incl GST) Base Fee (30 mins) + $50.00/hour thereafter, including shipping costs if applicable.
  12. Any unauthorised returned goods will not be accepted and will be sent back at customer's cost. Goods under warranty must be transported to GDWorld at the customer's cost and returned in their original packaging.
  13. For all returned items including Dead on Arrival (DOA items) - the full set of accessories including the manuals, driver CD's, all cables, original packing materials, etc must be returned together with the unit. If not restocking fees may apply
  14. Repairs or replacements under the terms of warranty do not give rights to extensions or a new beginning of the warranty period and the remainder of the original warranty will apply. Repairs or replacements may be carried out with functionally equivalent reconditioned parts.
  15. RMA policy on warranty provided by GDWorld are limited to those provided by the manufacturer in it's RMA Policy
  16. CPU Warranty claims' returns must include the fan/heatsink or warranty will become void.
  17. Warranty does not cover damage to other equipment used in conjunction with goods supplied by GDWorld.
  18. In the case of goods that are returned in a damaged condition, GDWorld reserves the right, to declare the goods ˇ§Beyond Repairˇ¨. GDWorld will replace the goods, at the customer's cost, with new goods with applicable new warranties. In the event that parts are salvaged from the damaged goods and used in the new goods, whatever warranty remains on those salvaged parts will apply.
  19. Customers who have warranted items, which are no longer available, will be offered an equivalent product or the choice to upgrade at GDWorld's discretion.
  20. Under no circumstance can opened software be returned.

warranty is void if...

Product's warranty is void when the damage is caused by
  • physical damage
  • negligence
  • incorrect installation
  • improper use
  • electrical surge
  • act of God
  • use with other devices / software
  • burnt-out chipsets or components due to inappropriate customer handling
  • has been repaired/modified or attempted to be repaired/modified
  • unclear, missing or deface barcode labels

Terms and Conditions of Shipping and Handling Policy
  1. Shipping and handling fee is at customer's cost and is not refundable unless the products were not or could not be delievered.
  2. GDWorld will not accept any responsibility or charges for delivery arranged by customers or arranged by us on behalf of the customer.
  3. Customers are responsible for any costs incurred by unclaimed goods or refused shipments. Customers must ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to accept the goods. GDWorld will use its best efforts to ensure that delivery is timely but cannot be held liable for any delayed or lost shipments.
